Masonic License Plate Details

You can obtain the application here so you can get yours ordered!

The application must be submitted thru the Grand Lodge Office, and must be accompanied by a check payable to Grand Lodge in the amount of $20.00 for processing - $5.00 goes to Grand Lodge for administrative expenses; $15.00 goes to the Charity Fund. The Grand Lodge will validate your application and return it to you, at which time you must take the application to your local DMV (the office at which you would like to pick up your plates when ready) and order the plates thru them.

Standard and personalized Masonic license plates may be issued for passenger and light commercial vehicles. Standard Masonic license plates may be issued for a fee of $35.00 plus a $1.00 Prison Industry Fee. Personalized Masonic license plates may be issued for a fee of $70.00 plus a $1.00 Prison Industry Fee. Both fees are in addition to all other registration fees. All applications must be stamped or otherwise validated by the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons.

The fee to duplicate a currently registered personalized plate is $70.00 plus a $1.00 Prison Industry Fee in addition to all other registration fees.

The renewal fee for a Standard Masonic license plate is $10.00. The renewal fee for a personalized Masonic license plate is $30.00. These fees are in addition to all other registration fees.

If your vehicle is currently registered, State law requires that your vehicle be re-registered for 12 months at the time you receive your Masonic License plates. Credit for the unused portion of your current registration will be allowed. You must surrender the current plates to the Department in order to transfer this credit. In applicable counties, if the previous evidence of compliance of emissions standards was obtained more then 90 days ago, the vehicle must be re-inspected prior to registration.

Personalized Masonic license plates may have a maximum of five positions, and cannot include symbols or punctuation marks.
