Sandy Valley Lodge #57
Chartered on December 22, 2001, Sandy Valley Lodge #57 is Nevada's newest Masonic Lodge ... and a unique one at that!
How many of you know of Masonic Lodges that meet in an airplane hangar? Here's the outside of the Lodge building (actually a private residence in Sandy Valley, Nevada, belonging to one of its members who graciously makes space available for the Lodge) ...
Notice the travel trailer inside the building, on the right ... and the chairs just inside the door ... and then, here's a picture of the inside of the building as it is set up for a Lodge meeting ...behind the chairs in the South is the big fold-up door that is the "front door" of the hangar building. You can see the two red chairs to the right in the picture above, and in the left in the picture below. Below, the East is to your left - above, the East is to the right (the Master's podium is in front of the travel trailer).
As mentioned above, behind the east is the travel trailer (and other various "big boy toys") ...
So ... if you ever find yourself in Sandy Valley, Nevada on the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 in the morning, look for the home of "N8264Y", and you'll find a Lodge meeting inside the hangar!
